Rita Xavier is an elected city official who has served as a Councilmember for the City of San Pablo, California, since December 2018. She has lived in San Pablo since 1991 and has been involved in several city planning projects in a city that has been growing for the past few years. Rita’s decades of volunteer work and civil service in New York State have been carried forward with her involvement in the State of California, the County of Contra Costa, and the City of San Pablo.

Rita has four children and seven grandchildren.
