Lao Family offers access to an array of housing opportunities and case manages clients to assist with housing needs.

Housing, economic development and nonprofit spaces include help with affordable rental housing, housing navigation, first-time homeownership, supportive housing, business assistance and entrepreneurship opportunities.

In the last two years, Lao Family has operated homeless housing sites, including Casa Liberty (an affordable interim supportive family property for DV survivors in Sacramento for 13 units) and 3 master-leased interim rental properties for homeless AB-109 re-entry adults in Richmond, Martinez and Pittsburg. Lao Family will be operating its largest homeless and re-entry affordable housing project at the previous Oakland Motel 6 (285 units in progress), now branded as CARE CAMPUS OAKLAND.
